Dewatering in Iron ore mines always remains challenging, as they tend to have lots of suspended ore fines, lumps. All along, client had no other option than to install regular clear water pump. With limited options client had to negotiate dewatering issues. Pump must have a foot valve, that would need it’s own pontoon, else foot valve will sink into the pit bottom sludge, and compounding problems.
When we informed client our intention to replace 4 of their 150 mm pump with just one of our 200 mm pump, why on the earth they must believe us??.
Again a proven installation at an Iron ore mine, our pumps replacing 4 of regular water pumps, Not only exceeding combined flow of regular pumps by Approx 22% we also ensured non-stop operations, Client is completely relieved of jammed foot valves, priming struggled. Many times pumps encountered close between 50 to 60 mm of suspended lumps which was handled easily
Feather on the cap was when client benefitted with extra 3.02Lakh extra ore production just in 5 months of our pump operation. Absolute mine owner’s delight.
